We’re delighted to announce that our plans for the Park’s new local centre have been passed by Eastleigh Borough Council’s Planning Committee, paving the way for construction on the new amenities to begin this summer.
The town’s planners approved the centre’s scheme unanimously and were quick to praise Highwood, the Park’s developer, for the ‘very impressive’ speed with which it had moved to get construction of the new office, retail and community buildings underway so early on in the project. It is not uncommon for developers of large scale mixed-use urban schemes to leave the completion of community amenities until the latter stages of the project, often leaving new residents without much needed local resources.
North Stoneham Park’s local centre includes a number of exciting new facilities, including a new community centre, a convenience store and a nursery, while a gym, coffee shop and other retail outlets are currently being considered by prospective occupiers. A 35,000 sq.ft. office building, which has been earmarked as a superb headquarters building due to its scale and proximity to the M27 motorway network is also attracting attention from potential commercial occupiers.
If you’re interested in leasing any of the Park’s commercial, retail or community units and buildings, please contact the agent, Lambert Smith Hampton, on 023 8033 0041.
