YMCA prepares to welcome young children to the Park’s new nursery
On 7th September, YMCA will open the doors to the Park’s first intake of children at its exciting new nursery. For the first few months, the eagerly anticipated nursery will be based in two of the classrooms of the Stoneham Park Academy where high quality childcare will be offered to children aged from five months to five years.
The new, bright and airy indoor space has been designed to feel like a home from home for the children, with cosy, nurturing care for babies and toddlers and more challenging activities for pre-schoolers. Both rooms have direct access to the new school playground, providing plenty of outdoor learning and play opportunities and, as the school will only have reception aged children in its first year, there will be lots of space for everyone.
